The Council on Aging is a town department responsible for assisting older adults and their families with issues of aging. The Senior Center is managed by the Council on Aging (COA) Director and council members. The center provides a full range of special programs and activities. An Outreach Coordinator is available to assist the more frail and isolated individuals in our community. The Council addresses the following needs and services: Information and Referral/Outreach and Advocacy/Crisis Intervention/Transportation/SHINE(health benefits counseling)/Social Gatherings/Trips and Classes/Educational and Cultural Opportunities/Fitness and Excercise and Wellness programs/Clinics.
