The Nashoba Regional School Committee is made up of elected registered voters from the three towns represented by the District; Bolton, Lancaster and Stow. The Committee has 2 representatives from Bolton, 3 from Lancaster and 3 from Stow. The NRSC has the power to select and terminate the superintendent, to review and approve budgets for public education for the district, and establishes educational goals and policies for the schools in the district consistent with the requirements of the law and statewide goals for standards established by the Board of Education. M.G.L.71.37 The Committee also appoints an administrator of special education, school physicians and registered nurses, and may award a contract to the business manager. The NRSC may also appoint an assistant superintendent if recommended by the superintendent.
