We are the Collective Memory of the Bolton community. We collect and preserve a wide range of objects that tell the stories of the town and its people. Vintage photographs, household items, clothing, toys, personal memorabilia, political and personal correspondence are just some of our holdings. These holdings and knowledgeable volunteer staff are available to the public for reference and form the basis of programs put on for the benefit of the schools and community as a whole. All funding comes from membership support, occasional grants, and fund raising through sale of the Bolton Geranium, the Annual Christmas Wreath sale, and sale of Bolton historical memorabilia such as early maps, postcards and About Bolton, the 1988 History of Bolton by Town Historian Esther Whitcomb. Located at 676 Main St., Open Hours are regularly 1:30-3:30 the last Thursday of each month, other times by appointment. Volunteers and visitors are encouraged and welcome.
